Marble monuments
Underwater art, made for a lasting tribute.
Once placed on their bases and inside of the Podium, these imported marble statues become stable reef structures. Their dense calcium-carbonate surfaces take on biofilm, then coralline algae, sponges, and other encrusting life, while folds and crevices shelter small fish and invertebrates. Over time the stone softens under that living cover and becomes part of the habitat.
